Summer Sweeties!

I do love summer for so many reasons! I love all the fun we get to have outside the most! Just a few pics from the last few weeks of the kiddos enjoying their time outside in the heat!
We are minimalists when it comes to clothing in the summer outside...for those under 5.
My cutie cheesing it up for the camera!
Greg has gotten pretty good at peddaling his bike like a big boy! He is all over the place!

I love a good find!

At the end of last summer, we had a little family outing to Target and found an AWESOME pool for 7.99. This was amazing! We were eyeing it earlier that summer, but couldn't justify spending 35.99 for it...especially since we have pool in the neighborhood! We were so ready to break out this pool, and it was worth the 90 minutes it took to blow it up since I had no pump for it! The kiddos LOVED it! A good find, indeed!
 Climbing up the slide!
 lots of splashing fun!
She didn't like going down the slide...just up it!
Gearing up for a fun slide into the water!
 Happy boy!
 Checking out the fountain!
Daddy approved, too!

Friends!

As brother and sister, Greg and Maria fight a lot! They are both at the same stage in which everything is mine, and waiting your turn consists of snatching and running....followed promptly by screaming and time out. BUT...they do love each other. At times, they play so well together and explore the world around them together with such love and admiration of one another. It's pretty much amazing to watch. And every now and then I am able to capture this love on the camera!
 Watching some Mickey Mouse together!
 Reading time!
Bath time fun with lots of bubbles!
I don't even know what to write about this picture!

Paint!

This week we had a rainy day. We stayed inside and did some fun painting to help pass the dreary day! The kids love to paint. I am so glad that they take time to enjoy some of the slower paced activities since both of them are on the go. ALL.OF.THE.TIME!
Maria's first finger painting experience. The Easter Bunny brought her some Crayola My First Paint Set! It is awesome!
A seasoned pro with the the finger paint!
 My little angel!
He's pretty much a stud muffin!
We are working on learning the difference between food and art supplies. She tends to eat both.
He made this picture for Grammy. Shocker.

It's Summer in GA!

It is hard to believe that last week we ventured out for an evening picnic and trip to the Suwanee Fountains! The wonderful Phillips Family invited us, and we jumped at the opportunity to hang out with them and the kiddos in the beautiful (hot) weather!

The kids had a blast playing in the fountains. Maria was cautious and Greg was moving so fast we could barely take his picture. Dinner was fast since there was so much fun playing outside in the water!

We are blessed to live close to fun areas like Suwanee where it is free to have a good time! :-) We are even more blessed to live close to Zach, Becca, Zoe, and Evan!

Big Boy Surprise!

Greg has been doing so great with potty training. We still have to take him every 30 minutes. He is beginning to tell us more and more when he has to go, but not every time. We were so proud of him and we wanted to let him know how great he was for being such a big boy so we surprised him with a trip to Build a Bear!

Greg had a great time picking out his bear and stuffing him!
Sitting with his new bear waiting for Maria. Yes, we bought her a bear, too! She was such a champ with being locked out of the bathroom or sitting in the bathroom with Greg as he went. For a few months, Greg got lots of attention for pottying and we wanted Maria to know that her "support" was not unnoticed! :-)
Maria did not like the noise of the stuffing machine!
Maria's bear is named Cheers since she was Greg's little cheerleader while he was learning to go potty!
Look at that sweet happy face! Greg named his bear. He named him Underwear Bear because that's what his bear got to wear home since he is a big boy just like Greg!
 Maria and Cheers!
Sweet boy loving on Underwear Bear!

It is so hard to believe how fast he is growing up!
